Sand Spit to Morro Bay Estuary
View this stereo pair in 3-D without glasses:
1. Click on image to enlarge...
2. From a distance of about 1.5 to 2-feet, view the enlarged pair straight on and level with your eyes...
3. Cross or converge your eyes until three images appear where there were two...
4. With the three images in your line of sight, stare at the center image. It will be in 3-D!
If at first you don't succeed, be patient and try again. The visual reward is well worth the effort.
Lately I've been experimenting with a small HP 5-megapixel digital camera. This and the anaglyph version above were shot with a handheld single-camera method by shooting a left view followed immediately by a right view on a stereo base of about 12-inches. Enjoy!
